CHINA OFFICE
Why China Office?
The Education Law of the People's Republic of China allows foreign educational institutions to cooperate and set a program office in China to implement their educational activities.
To carry out business in China, foreign universities need to understand the local culture, timely grasp the changes in China's education policy, and have a local office that can interpret the development trend of education to assist foreign universities to closely carry out recruitment and cooperation business in China.
Therefore, setting up a China office is a necessary means for foreign universities to realize the localization recruitment market strategy.
The demand for localized market expansion
Some foreign universities hope to unlock China market but due to limited regional knowledge on local market insights, they need to set up a local office to develop a tailored strategy to expand its international enrollment.
The needs of a local entity to manage financial transactions and in-country staffing
When expanding its recruitment in the local market, foreign universities usually lack a localized entity to receive payment and make financial transactions, which prevents the universities from developing local activities. Meantime, foreign universities may face inconvenience in paying for in-country employees’ social insurance and salaries.
